Terms of Service
Version 2026-08-04. This is the version you're asked to accept when you sign up or log in.
1. What nemFIX is
nemFIX is a platform that connects drivers with accident-damaged vehicles to independent repair workshops. A driver submits a claim with photos and details of the damage; nearby partner workshops bid on the job; the driver picks a bid; and the resulting repair is tracked to completion through the platform, including messages exchanged directly between the driver and the workshop handling their claim.
nemFIX is not itself a repair workshop, an insurer, or a party to the repair contract — that contract is between the driver, their insurer, and the workshop. We provide the coordination platform.
2. Accounts
Drivers create an account with an email address, a password, and a small amount of contact information. Workshop accounts are issued by nemFIX after a partner application is approved — a workshop does not self-register, but must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy the first time they log in before using the dashboard.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it.
3. Using the platform
As a driver, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself, your vehicle, and the damage you're reporting.
- Only submit claims for damage that has actually occurred.
- Use the in-app chat to communicate with your workshop about the claim — not for anything unlawful, abusive, or unrelated to the repair.
As a workshop partner, you agree to:
- Only bid on jobs you're able and licensed to carry out.
- Honor the intake date, timeline, and perks stated in an accepted bid in good faith.
- Keep the driver informed of real progress through the milestone tracker and chat, not just at pickup.
4. The chat between drivers and workshops
Once a claim is created, the driver and their assigned workshop can message each other directly through the platform about that specific job. This channel exists to coordinate the repair — it isn't monitored in real time, and nemFIX staff do not have routine, standing access to its contents. Support staff may access a specific conversation only where necessary — for example, to investigate a reported dispute, a safety concern, or suspected misuse — as described in our Privacy Policy.
Once a claim is marked ready for pickup or is cancelled, the chat becomes read-only for both sides — the history stays visible, but no further messages can be sent.
5. Payment
nemFIX doesn't charge drivers to submit a claim or accept a bid. Repair costs are billed by the workshop to the insurer named on the claim, following that insurer's own process — no payment passes through nemFIX itself.
6. Cancellations
A driver can cancel an open request or a booked repair at any point before it's finished. A workshop (or nemFIX support, on a workshop's behalf) can also cancel a booked repair if it can no longer be completed as agreed — the driver will always see the stated reason and can submit a new request.
7. Liability
nemFIX coordinates the introduction between driver and workshop and provides the tracking and messaging tools around it, but the quality, timeliness, and safety of the repair itself is the responsibility of the workshop that carried it out. We're not liable for the acts or omissions of an independent workshop partner, though we do want to hear about problems — use "Report a problem" on your claim, or contact support, and we'll follow up.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that misuses the platform — for example, submitting fraudulent claims, abusive messages, or repeated no-shows. You can stop using the platform, or ask us to close your account, at any time.
9. Changes to these Terms
If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll ask you to accept the new version the next time you log in before you can keep using your account — continuing to use an old, unaccepted version isn't possible by design.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark and applicable EU law.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to the support address shown in the app footer or your account page.
